Welcoming families to Acelero Learning Centers in Kent and Sussex Counties in Delaware

Acelero Learning has been awarded a five-year grant by The Administration for Children and Families, Office of Head Start, to provide Head Start services in Delaware beginning on September 22, 2025.

Acelero Learning has been awarded a five-year grant by The Administration for Children and Families, Office of Head Start, to provide Head Start services in Delaware beginning on September 22, 2025. An exemplar Head Start provider, Acelero Learning has been serving children and families for over 20 years, operating 52 centers in five states. In Delaware, Acelero Learning will provide high-quality Head Start programs for 421 children in Kent and Sussex counties.

Dr. Rory B. Sipp, President, Acelero Learning, shared that, “At Acelero Learning, we strive to eliminate the gaps between young children’s inherent potential and their achievement in school and life. We are honored to provide Head Start programs in Delaware and eager to partner with local leaders, Head Start staff, and families to achieve the greatest outcomes for the children of Kent and Sussex counties.”

To achieve the best learning outcomes for children, Acelero Learning will partner with local leaders, agencies, teachers, staff, and families to develop and deliver high-quality, research-based programs and services that address the aspirations and unique needs of the communities in Kent and Sussex counties. Acelero Learning will collaborate with the outgoing Head Start provider, Children & Families First, a trusted leader in human services and early education in Delaware, to ensure a smooth program transition. “We are proud to work alongside Acelero Learning to ensure that Delaware children and families continue receiving high-quality Head Start services,” shared Kirsten Olson, CEO, Children & Families First. “Our shared commitment to children’s success will help make this transition as seamless and supportive as possible.”

Acelero Learning will host open houses for the Kent and Sussex communities so local leaders, teachers, staff, and families have the opportunity to meet the Acelero Learning team and learn more about their early education programs and family services.
