Katharine Hersh named Chief Financial Officer

Hersh will support Acelero, Inc.’s continued growth and innovation, deepening the organization’s impact in early childhood education.

Acelero, Inc,. as well as its divisions Acelero Learning and Shine Early Learning, is excited to announce Katharine Hersh as its new Chief Financial Officer. With 15 years’ experience across private equity, corporate finance, government contracting, audit, and compliance, Hersh is poised to play a pivotal role in driving Acelero, Inc.’s financial strategy.

Hersh has already made a mark on Acelero, Inc. as a valued member of our Board since 2022. She has experience in private equity, corporate finance, government contracting, audit, and compliance. Hersh was most recently a Partner with the Builders Fund, a leading growth-stage private equity fund investing in purpose-driven businesses. She previously led finance and contract management for the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health at the University of California-San Francisco (UCSF), overseeing a $50 million annual budget for sponsored research and clinical programs.

Hersh begins her role as CFO on August 7, 2024.
