Celebrating 25 Years of Impact at Acelero Learning

A milestone shaped by people, communities, and shared purpose, reflecting on where we began and the impact we continue to build.

A Legacy Built Together

For 25 years, Acelero Learning has worked alongside children, families, and educators to strengthen Head Start and expand what is possible in early learning. What began as a shared belief that programs could do more has grown into an organization shaped by purpose, learning, and long-term commitment.

This milestone marks not just the passage of time, but the collective effort of the people and communities who have shaped Acelero’s journey from the very beginning.

Our Story

Acelero Learning was founded by Aaron Lieberman, Scott Miller, and Henry Wilde, who shared a belief that Head Start programs could do more when high expectations are paired with meaningful support. That belief continues to guide the organization today, with Henry Wilde serving as Acelero Learning’s Chief Executive Officer.

From the earliest days, the focus was on listening closely to families, supporting educators in their daily work, and strengthening systems in ways that felt practical, human, and lasting. Progress was built through relationships, thoughtful decisions, and persistence, even when the path forward was uncertain.

Those early commitments continue to shape who we are today.

Our Impact

Acelero’s work deepened over time, and its impact became visible in classrooms and family experiences. Strong results created momentum for growth, allowing the organization to expand thoughtfully while remaining grounded in the needs of each community it serves.

Acelero Learning began its work in Camden and Monmouth County in 2005, establishing a strong foundation rooted in Head Start. In 2008, the organization expanded to Clark County, followed by growth into Monmouth County and North Philadelphia in 2010. Continued expansion brought Acelero to Milwaukee County in 2013 and Racine in 2015, extending its reach while maintaining a focus on quality and consistency. Most recently, Acelero Learning expanded to Aiken and Barnwell in 2024 and Kent and Sussex in 2025, continuing its commitment to supporting children and families across diverse communities.

Each year, Acelero Learning serves over 5,000 children and their families through 62 centers spanning multiple states, including Delaware, Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and South Carolina. Through high-quality early learning across the earliest years of development, Acelero strengthens outcomes that begin in childhood and extend well beyond the classroom.

This impact reflects what early learning makes possible. When children are supported early in life, opportunity expands in ways that last far beyond the earliest years.

Our People

Acelero’s journey has included moments of challenge, change, and growth. What has sustained the organization throughout is the dedication of its people.

Educators, staff, leaders, and partners have shaped Acelero through their commitment to showing up, learning from one another, and staying grounded in purpose. Their belief in the work, especially during uncertain times, has been central to the organization’s resilience and progress.

The strength of Acelero lives in the people who carry this mission forward every day.

Looking Ahead

As Acelero Learning marks 25 years of impact, this moment is both a reflection and a renewal. The work ahead builds on decades of experience while staying focused on what matters most: children, families, and their communities.

Our vision is a world where children become champions of their own making, where nothing stands in the way of their infinite promise. This vision continues to guide how we support early learning across those critical first years, partner with families as trusted collaborators, and honor the cultures, aspirations, and strengths that shape each community.

This work is guided by shared purpose and a commitment to learning and growth. It is grounded in care, informed by evidence, and carried forward by teams who believe every child deserves the support needed to thrive.

Every staff member plays a role in shaping what comes next. Together, we will continue championing possibility and strengthening partnerships as we build a future rooted in opportunity and promise.
